5/10/2023 0 Comments Book the man without qualities![]() I think it was likely contradictory, but it was delivered with gusto and with full intention to be correct. I don't believe that I fully understood any particular philosophical utterance of Ulrich, but it didn't seem very concrete. I am not sure how I would classify it or describe it, even though I finished it a few months ago. Was it Numero Zero? So I decided I had to read it then. I then saw it referenced by Umberto Eco somewhere. This was because it was mentioned in relation to the detail, I believe, it goes into regarding perception and interior thoughts. I think it was The Master and His Emissary by Ian McGilchirst.(I can't ask my brother right now). My brother bought it for me because of it being mentioned in a book he was reading about neuroscience and philosophy of the mind. There are spoilers for The Man Without Qualities here. I haven't posted on this reddit before, so I may go overboard with spoiler tags because I am not quite sure of the specifics and I decided to err on the side of caution. ![]() I recently finished The Man without Qualities and wondered what other people thought about it. ![]()
